A big play in last night's NLDS game that made the Washington Nationals feel like they were a sub-par little league team. A PB on the Nats gave the Cubs momentum and a big run. Cubs won 9-8. However, it appears Javier Baez hits Matt Weiters in the head with his bat on his follow-through. Which you cannot do.
Wouldn't the game be interesting if you struck out and then could immediately hit the catcher in the face with the bat. If he holds on to the ball, you're out. If he drops it, you're safe.
Unfortunately for the Nats, the umpires failed to enforce the rule even after they saw the replay.
