Titans' Matthews Backtracks From Tweet Over Anthem Policy

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Rishard Matthews says he made a bad decision when he tweeted this week that he would quit football if the NFL forced players to stand for the national anthem.  When asked whether he would stay in the locker room and accept a fine it the NFL changed its anthem protest policy, Matthews posted on Twitter that he would be done playing football altogether.

He now says it's unfortunate that his comment, which was later deleted, became a distraction because of the "ignorant thing" that he tweeted out.  The Titans host the Colts on "Monday Night Football."
