I hate the 4-tm bracket!
Clemson vs Alabama / Oklahoma vs Georgia
There is a conference bias (SEC), someone gets their feelings hurt (Ohio State), and there is zero love for non-p5 schools (UCF). And only 3 games,,,, BORING!
If there were more teams, we'd have more fun in December. I would argue that we'd have more fun all Fall! Keep you crappy bowl games for the "other' schools. Cut the regular season to 10 games. Play it all out on the field!!!
Some have suggested a 6-tm bracket like the NFL
#1 Clemson
vs winner of #4 Alabama vs #5 Ohio State
#2 Oklahoma
vs winner of #3 Georgia vs #6 Wisconsin
but this still leaves out a P5 conference champ, USC.
Others propose an 8-tm bracket where all P5 Conference Champs get in with 3 at-large teams.
#1 Clemson ACC vs #8 USC P12
#4 Alabama @1 vs #5 Ohio State B10
#3 Georgia SEC vs #6 Wisconsin @2
#2 Oklahoma B12 vs #7 Auburn @3
but this leaves out unbeaten AAC champ UCF.
I want to see a 16-tm bracket with all conference champs and 6 at-large teams
