Yanks Drop 2 of 3 to White Sox and Sweep Boston

The Yankees started their nine game home stand dropping 2 out of 3 to the White Sox but rebounded this week sweeping the Red Sox in a short two game series.

With all the injuries to the line up the Yanks have needed other guys to step up and they have with Clint Frazier and DJ LeMahieu. Frazier in 13 games this year is hitting for an average of .333 with 4 HRs and 12 RBIs, LeMahieu is hitting for an average of .351 which is the best of anyone on the Yankees so far.

The rotation has been up and down this home stand they've gotten great starts from James Paxton, CC Sabathia and J.A. Happ had his best start of the season last night. After a great start to the year Tanaka struggled on Sunday against the White Sox going 4 innings allowing 5 earned runs , J.A. Happ also struggled against the White Sox going 4 innings allowing 6 earned runs.

Chad Green has continued to struggle in the Yankees bullpen allowing 2 Home Runs in Fridays nights loss to the White Sox. The rest of the Yankees bullpen has been excellent lately Adam Ottavino has been a great pick up pitching to a recored of 1-1 with an ERA of 1.00 and Aroldis Chapman has not allowed a run in his last 4 outings.

The Yanks finish their 9 game home stand this weekend with 4 games against Royals and then head out to the west cost for 4 games with the Angels.
