Giants win 2 in a row

The Giants won their 2nd in a row yesterday beating the Redskins 24 to 3 with the win the Giants go to 2-2 and are now 1 game out of first in the NFC East behind the Cowboys who are 3-1.

Daniel Jones had a up and down day for the Giants he finished the game going 23 for 31 for 225 Yards with 1 TD and 2 INT's . Wayne Gallman and Sterling Shepard had big games yesterday, Gallman had over 100 all purpose yards he rushed for 63 yards and a TD he also had 6 catches for 55 Yards and a TD. Shepard had 7 receptions for 73 yards he also had 23 yards rushing as well.

The Giants defense had its best game of the season yesterday they did a great job against the run holding the Skins to 55 yards on the ground, they were able to get pressure on Keenum and Haskins getting 3 sacks and they forced the Redskins to turn the ball over 4 times. Ryan Connelly opened the game with an interception of Keenum on the first drive, Jabrill Peppers had a pick 6 of Haskins late in the 3rd quarter and Janoris Jenkins picked Haskins off twice in the 4th. The win did not come without a cost for the Giants thou they lost Ryan Connelly for the season with a torn ACL and with Tate Davis and Alex Ogletree out yesterday the Giants are very thin at linebacker at the moment.

Player of the game: Ryan Connelly he had great game yesterday with 5 tackles, a pick, a sack and was good against the run. Unfortunately that's going to be the last game of his rookie season because he is out for the year with a torn ACL.

Up Next: The Giants host the Vikings Sunday at 1 at MetLife Stadium.
