It's time for the Yanks to start the postseason

The Yankees open the postseason on Friday night against the AL Central Champion Minnesota Twins . The Yanks got to the postseason by winning the AL East and winning 103 games.

This line up heading into the postseason is the healthiest it's been since the start of the year DIDI, Judge, Sanchez and Stanton all missed over 50 games this year. When the Yankees were in Minnesota in late July they scored a combine 30 runs in 3 games.

The only thing that will stop the Yankees from beating the Twins in the ALDS is their rotation. When the Yankees were in Minnesota in late July they did not have starter make it out of the 4th inning. The good news is the only starter from that series that will be used in this series is J.A. Happ. Tanaka should get the ball in game one even thou he had a subpar year he has been very good in the postseason the last 2 years he got the win in the Yanks only win in the division series against the Sox last year. It will be interesting to see how James Paxton pitches this postseason and whether Happ and Severino can shake off their poor postseason performances last year.

This bullpen is the strength of the team heading into the postseason. Chapman, Ottavino and Britton have been great this year and Kahnle has been very good as well .

Series Prediction: Yanks in 4 I think the Twins Rotation and Bullpen are not deep enough to be able shut a great Yankees line up down.
