Vikings snap Giants winning streak

The Giants lost to Vikings yesterday 28-10 to fall to 2-3 on the season but with the Cowboys losing to the Packers later in the day the Giants still remain one game out of first place.

Daniel Jones had another subpar game he had a really nice touchdown pass to rookie Wide Receiver Darius Slayton but he also missed Shepard wide open for two potential TD's one on the first drive of the game and the other on the first drive of the 2nd half. He finished the game going 21 for 38 throwing for 182 yards with one TD and one interception. The O-line and the run game gave Jones no favors yesterday he was under pressure all game and sacked 4 times. Barkley being out really effected the Giants in this game between Wayne Gallman who left the game in the first half with a concussion, John Hilliman and Elijhaa Penny only managed to get 64 yards on the ground.

On defense the Giants came back down to earth yesterday they really struggled against the run giving up 211 yards on the ground Dalvin Cook had 218 all purpose yards, he ran for 132 yards and had 86 yards receiving. The Giants defense had no answer for Adam Thielen he had 7 receptions for 130 yards and 2 TD's. One positive the Giants defense can take out of this game is they were able to get some pressure on Kirk Cousins sacking him 3 times.

Player of the game: Darius Slayton he had 4 catches for 62 Yards and the Giants only TD.

Up Next: The Giants head up to Foxborough to face the undefeated New England Patriots Thursday night.
