Giants drop 2nd in a row

The Giants lost to the Pats Thursday night 35-14 but with the Cowboys and Eagles losing yesterday they still remain only 1 game out of first place.

It was a rough day for Daniel Jones Thursday night he finished the game going 15 for 31 throwing for 161 yards with 1 TD and 3 Interceptions. Barkley being out has continued to hurt the Giants they were only able to get 52 yards on the ground. The lone bright spot for the Giants on offense was Golden Tate who had 6 receptions for 102 yards and a TD.

The defense played very well Thursday night holding the Pats to 14 points on offense for most of the night, 14 of the Pats 35 points were from a blocked punt that was returned for a touchdown and a fumble that was recovered and returned for a touchdown. One of the Giants touchdowns was on defense when Marcus Golden retuned a fumble for a TD.

Player of the Game: David Mayo he had 13 Tackles and a .5 Sack and was great against the run.

Up Next: The Giants host the Cardinals this Sunday at 1 at MetLife Stadium.
