Bruins Win Last Game before All-Star Break

With the Vegas Golden Knights in Boston, the teams played their final game before the All-Star Weekend festivities and bye week. After suffering another loss after blowing a three goal lead, the Bruins needed to go into the break on a high note. Early in the game it didn’t seem as though that would happen, but Boston showed the resilience they have had when trailing early in games. Vegas would go up early as Mark Stone scored less than two minutes in, but after being called back up to Boston, Jeremy Lauzon scored his first goal of the year tying the game. Vegas would score the only goal of the second period, regaining their one goal lead, but early in the third Jake DeBrusk would score his 15th of the season to tie the game again. As the game got late in the third period, David Krejci would score the game winner after he deflected the puck on goal and got the rebound after a Marc-Andre Fluery save, beating him with a quick shot.

The All-Star break will take place over the weekend with the skills challenge taking place on Friday night, and the All-Star game itself on Saturday night. The Bruins will then have a bye week and not return to action until January 31st when they go up to Winnipeg and take on the Jets.
