Harvesting Hope: Alzheimer's & Care-giving

Pictured left to right: Christy Kovel (Interim Executive Director/Director of Public Policy at the Alzheimer's Association Connecticut Chapter), Renee, Kristen Cusato (Director Of Communications at Alzheimer's Association Connecticut Chapter)

Listen below as Renee chats with Christy Kovel and Kristen Cusato of the Alzheimer's Association Connecticut Chapter. They're also joined on the Community Access hotline by Patricia Lowe, who is a care giver for her husband Frank (who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's 9 years ago.) They all chat about the warning signs of Alzheimer's, personal connections to the disease, and how the Alzheimer's Association provides support to thousands.

We also hear about Harvesting Hope, which takes place at Union Station in Hartford on Thursday, March 28, from 6-9 p.m. It will be an extraordinary night filled with fresh and local farm-to-table food, all to benefit The Alzheimer's Association Connecticut Chapter.
