President Biden is set to visit a daycare in Hartford and then will travel to the UConn Storrs campus Friday, October 15. Here are the latest travel advisory updates.
At 9:30 AM, the following Hartford roads will be closed:
- Broad Street at Asylum Avenue (southbound lanes only)
- Broad Street at the I-84 East on-ramp (southbound lanes only)
- Capitol Avenue at Oak Street (westbound lanes only)
- Capitol Avenue at Lawrence Street (eastbound lanes only)
At 11 AM, roads surrounding Brainard Airport will be closed intermittently, including:
- Maxim Road
- Reserve Road
- Airport Road
- Brainard Road
Hartford PD expects that all roads will be reopened by 2 p.m.
